Do you work alone or you have a team? Tell about yourself and your studio.
The Primetime team is based on my work and the work of my assistants. Some of them help me to shoot at the weddings and some of them help me with the editing. On the wedding day we normally shoot in a team of two or three people.
For how long do you work as a wedding videographer? Where do you work (office or Internet)?
Primetime was founded in 2009 when my first professional wedding video was created. From this time on the number of wedding videos increased every year. Now I shoot about 20 weddings per year. I have my own office where I am used to work.
How there was an idea to become the wedding videographer?
I am a big movie fan. Many years ago I bought my first handy cam with the idea to shoot some "home movies" . I started to shoot the weddings and events of my family members and slowly started to specialize in wedding and commercial videos.
What is your favourite part of work? What other directions of business do you develop except of video filming?
I love stories, emotions, feelings. I love to tell stories with my camera. I try every time to show something more in my videos. Maybe a kind of my own fingerprint. That’s the reason why the clients are booking me. The biggest inspiration comes from the groom and the bride. If they give everything into the story and cooperate then it is also easier for me to give everything into my work.
How you think if WEVA unites all best colleagues, can it make our work better and help videography?
It is great that there is an association like EEVA. It gets more exclusive and a lot of videographers are pleased to submit. It's for sure a great environment for the personal growth. The videographers can find a lot of inspiration for their work, some good advices, tips and tricks. Every year there is a contest for the best video and this is something unique in Europe. Go ahead!
What do you think of the results of WEVA Award?
There is no better contest at the moment in Europe. It is really good that this contest exists. It forces the videographers to work on themselves, to educate oneself… The award is the cherry on the cake for their effort during the year :)
Would you like to tell something to your colleagues?
The work of a videographer especially of a wedding videographer is an extremely exacting discipline. My respect and honor goes to all of them. I wish them a lot of invention, a good eye and the power to master all the challenges!
